Before storing the fruit remove all crushed, dirty or moldy blueberries from the blueberries to be stored. Choose a container for storage. The best storage containers are glass. Pour the blueberries into a strainer or colander. Wash the blueberries under water. Shake the colander to remove the water.
Take a food storage container and lay a paper towel down at the bottom of it. Add the blueberries on top of the paper towel in the box. Store in the fridge.
If you won’t be eating them in five days refrain from washing them until ready to eat.
