Beans

Beans beans they… yeah yeah but not if you rinse them. I use beans a lot in soups, salads and purees. They are delicious and easy, whether you take them from a can or soak them overnight. For every 100g they contain 25g of fiber. They also contain folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, pantothenic acid and zinc. Red kidney, black, navy and the list goes on. Keep a container of them rinsed and ready to go. I am even reaching in for a handful. Today you can find large cans where two will do the trick for your container, otherwise 5 smaller cans of beans, rinsed and kept in your container makes it easy to add into recipes. You can keep cooked beans in an air tight container 4-5 days. Suggestion for beans on day 5, add them to soup.
