Tofu

I have really taken a liking to tofu. Tofu has very little flavor or smell on its own, so it can be used either in savory or sweet dishes, and it is often seasoned or marinated to suit the dish. My kids love the Tofu Crunchers. Tofu contains a low amount of calories, relatively large amount of iron, and little fat. Tofu or bean curd is a food made by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into soft white blocks. It is of Chinese origin and you can find it in most markets. When I keep tofu in my containers, I simply remove the tofu from the original container, keeping the liquid and slice into thick pieces. I place the pieces into my glass container and pour the liquid over the top. I can squeeze 2 containers into a 6 cup snap and lock container.
