You can find a better quality pop and fresh dough. I found a roll at Sprouts added some apples and cinnamon and poof a dessert was in the oven.

Bread Baked ApplesOne roll of pop and fresh dough
2 apples
half a lemon
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 tsp. of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of water
egg wash for dough (optional)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Take out the dough and press into 5 rounds. Slice the apples in thin slices and drop in a bowl. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice.
Mix together to coat the apples. Place the apples in a sauce pan on the stove and cook on medium for about 3-5 minutes to soften the apples. Keeping the apples in whole pieces and place the slices on the dough. Pour any extra juice over the top. Fold sides in slightly. Brush with egg wash on the sides of the dough. Bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
