For Thanksgiving or just a dinner where your family will give thanks for having them on the table. They are super duper delicious.

INGREDIENTS                                       (click photo to enlarge)

6 Cups of your favorite bread cubes, see below.
1 cup diced apple
2 cups of cooked Mirepoix, using 1 cup of finely chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped carrot and 1/2 chopped celery.
1/2 Tsp. minced sage
1/2 Tsp. fresh thyme
Dash of cinnamon
1 1/2 cups low sodium chicken or veggie broth
1 beaten egg

* Mirepoix is a combination of chopped carrots, celery and onions used to add flavor and aroma to stocks, sauces, soups and other foods. The proportions for making mirepoix are 50% onions, 25% carrots and 25% celery.


Once your Mirepoix is finished add all ingredients to a large bowl. Mix together until well blended. Spray muffin tin with olive oil. Press gently into muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. Serves 10.
Spoon the Mushroom Gravy on top of each one. To die for.

Making Bread Cubes:

1 loaf of sourdough or french bread, enough to make 6 cups of cubes.
Cut bread into cubes or slices. Arrange on baking sheet. Spray with olive oil cooking spray or drizzle, lightly, with olive oil. Broil, on low, for about 1 minute on each side. When using slices, once out of the oven and cool, crumble with your hands into small bite size pieces.
